FAQs

Where do you work?

Which brands do you use?
We use the highest quality materials to throughout our installations, from the smallest fittings to the largest items such as boilers and bathroom furniture. Brands we often use include Vaillant, Worcester, Atag, Danfoss, Honeywell, Drayton, Mira, Bristan and Ideal Standard, however if you have any specific requests we are happy to meet your requirements.

What is power flushing?
Power flushing is the ultimate way to clean your central heating system internally, removing almost all dirt and debris from the system and returning your system to maximum efficiency and performance. A power flush is far superior to a chemical flush which simply involves adding a cleaning chemical to your system before draining it away and which many lower quality installations will perform.
A power flush involves connecting a high flow pump to your system, circulating chemicals to loosen dirt and debris, and finally clearing any remaining dirt through each radiator and system component individually. It can be a lengthy process, generally taking between half and three quarters of a day, but the improvements can be significant.
This service is particularly recommended if you have cold spots on your radiators or other circulation issues within your central heating system.

What guarantees do you offer?
All components have manufacturers’ warranties, with some boilers having warranties up to 10 years and cylinders up to 25 years. Any work carried out has a minimum of a 12 month guarantee to ensure nothing is leaking or performing incorrectly. Any issues will generally be noticed within the first few weeks so this 12 month guarantee is rarely an issue after the initial installation period.
